An evening of hazy light with a large lazy swell from mid-Atlantic crashing on the West side of Hirta, the main island in the St Kilda group 40 miles west of the Outer Hebrides. Meanwhile the resident gannets have spotted a shoal of summer herring and literally pour themselves out of the air on top of them in a feeding frenzy; from close range it’s not difficult to see how their name became associated with enthusiastic eating habits.

For UK shipping, the smaller paintings that appear at £150.00/200.00 cost £12.00 for packing and posting and the larger paintings which come in around £350.00/£400.00 cost £15.00 for packing and postage. A tracking method is used.
